“To be a beacon for Christ’s love that hears God’s Word; shares God’s love; and seeks and sends disciples into the world.”
At Helena UMC we extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, filthy rich or dirt poor. We extend a welcome to those who are crying newborns, those who are over 60 but not grown up yet, and to teenagers who are growing up too fast.
We welcome you if you can sing like Andrea Bocelli or can’t carry a note in a bucket. You’re welcome here if you’re “just browsing,” just woke up or just got out of jail. We don’t care if you’re Methodist, Baptist, Catholic or haven’t been in church since little Mary’s Baptism.
We welcome those who are in recovery or still addicted. We welcome soccer moms, NASCAR dads, avid hunters, latte-sippers, and vegetarians. If you’re having problems, if you don’t like “organized religion,” or if grandma is in town and wanted to go to church, you are welcome here.
If you work too hard or don’t work, we welcome you. We welcome those who are inked, pierced or both. We offer a special welcome to those who could use a prayer, those who want to pray, and those who don’t know how. We welcome seekers, doubters, and believers alike…
We welcome YOU to Helena UMC!
